Jujutsu Kaisen

"Jujutsu Kaisen" is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Gege Akutami. The series made its debut in the "Weekly Shonen Jump" magazine in 2018 and quickly gained popularity for its engaging storyline, well-developed characters, and dynamic action sequences. An anime adaptation of the series was also produced and further contributed to its success.

The story follows Yuji Itadori, a high school student with exceptional physical abilities but a disdain for the supernatural. When a cursed talisman is accidentally unsealed at his school, it attracts malevolent Cursed Spirits that threaten the lives of his friends. In an attempt to save them, Yuji swallows a cursed finger, an object containing the essence of a powerful and malevolent Curse.

This act puts Yuji on a collision course with the world of Jujutsu Sorcery, a discipline dedicated to battling Cursed Spirits and curses using the art of jujutsu. To navigate this dangerous world, Yuji joins Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical High School, where he meets other students training to become Jujutsu Sorcerers.

The series explores themes of life, death, fear, and the consequences of dealing with curses. Yuji, along with his allies, including the stern yet caring Satoru Gojo and the skilled and reserved Megumi Fushiguro, confronts powerful Cursed Spirits and uncovers the mysteries surrounding curses and their origins.
